Cold storage & distribution dashboard

A facility-and-energy view of an Ignition dashboard for a cold-storage operation — a live temperature map of the whole building, the refrigeration energy demand curve, and dock activity on one screen. Live-updating with simulated data.

Facility temperature map live °F by room

Why track it  Instead of a list, the building is shown as it's laid out — every room colored by its live temperature against setpoint. A warming freezer lights up before the product behind it is at risk, so staff can react while there's still time to save the load.

Refrigeration energy demand kW · dashed line = peak-demand cap

Why track it  Refrigeration is the biggest electricity cost in the building, and utilities bill hard on peak demand. Watching draw against the demand cap lets the plant shed or stage compressors before it sets a new — and expensive — monthly peak.

Dock doors open / closed · dwell

Why track it  An open or propped dock door dumps cold air and drives both temperature and energy. Tracking which door is open and for how long turns "door discipline" into a number you can manage.

Refrigeration plant compressors

Why track it  Compressor staging and suction pressures drive both temperature and the power bill. Leak detection on the ammonia/refrigerant side is a safety and regulatory must.

Regulatory & compliance federal & state records

Why track it  Cold-chain time/temperature records support FDA FSMA sanitary-transport rules, and refrigerant systems fall under California's CARB Refrigerant Management Program (leak monitoring & reporting). Live data makes both routine.

Why track it  Tracking load, capacity and door discipline together turns kilowatts into something you can actually manage instead of just paying for.

Simulated demonstration data — not a live facility. Built in Ignition; the same screens run against your refrigeration PLCs, sensors, historian and WMS.

    Build this for your facility

We build zone-temperature monitoring, refrigeration control, energy dashboards, cold-chain records and refrigerant-leak alarming on Ignition for cold-storage and distribution facilities across the Central Valley — on-site from Merced and remote nationwide.
