Ignition & Perspective development in Modesto, CA
Just up Highway 99 from my home base in Merced, Modesto and Stanislaus County run on food, beverage and ag processing. I build the Ignition systems and Perspective screens that keep those lines visible and reporting clean — on-site nearby, remote everywhere else.
Food, beverage & wineries
Stanislaus County is one of the densest food-and-beverage corridors in the state — canneries, wineries, nut processing and dairy, plus the packaging and logistics around them. These plants need real-time line visibility, batch and CIP tracking, and reporting that holds up to audits. Ignition ties the PLCs, meters and SQL together, and Perspective puts it on any browser or panel; I build the tag models, UDTs and screens around your specific process.
Nut handling & ag processing
Almond and walnut handling — hulling, drying, sizing and storage — generates a lot of data that's easy to lose track of. I set up Ignition to capture throughput, moisture and downtime, then surface it in Perspective dashboards and scheduled reports so supervisors can act on it instead of reconstructing it after the fact.
Water & municipal
From the Modesto and Turlock irrigation districts to municipal water and wastewater, the region has plenty of distributed SCADA. Ignition is built for remote sites, and Perspective makes the dashboards approachable for operators across Modesto, Turlock and Ceres.
Close to home
Modesto is an easy on-site trip from Merced for commissioning, walkdowns and operator training. The rest — design, build, deploy and support — happens remotely over Ignition's secure access, so location never slows the work down.
